Unfortunately, we only get down there once a year, sometimes twice. We have stayed at the Sonoran Spa and Sea many times, always booking our reservations with Rocky Point Reservations. We have never had a problem and would never use another company to book our reservations. <BR/><BR/>We avoid busy travel times when we go to Mexico, and if we're traveling during fall break, we make sure we're crossing the border into Sonora on a Sunday and crossing back into the US on a Saturday. So, the long border lines are not a problem for us.<BR/><BR/>We would like to go to RP more often, but we typically choose to go other places where we get free hotel stays with our reward points. I think Rocky Point Reservations could easily persuade us back to RP more than once a year if they offered a points program similar to the large hotel chains, where you earn points for each dollar spent with Rocky Point Reservations (including car insurance or booking excursions through them) that can be used toward free nights at the one of the resorts that they can book. Thank you for an excellent place to enjoy a few days of solitude and incredible surroundings.<BR/><BR/>When we entered Mexico, the line of cars coming into the U.S. was about 2 miles long, and not moving perceptibly. It was the world's largest parking lot. Clearly, the U.S. border protection racket is ridiculous, and is going to ruin holiday travel to Mexico for thousands of travelers.<BR/><BR/>We, on the other hand, had an excellent time at Las Conchas, in a Rocky Point Res rental. The beach was spectacular, the sunsets sublime, the sea wind rejuvenating, the town hospitable.
